She started hers last year and has made some incredible strides in completing it. I began mine January of 2010 and still haven’t managed to write down 101 things but I’m working on it. I have managed to cross off a few from my list, which is so exciting… but this past weekend I got to do something I’ve been waiting YEARS to do.

#50 – Learn how to shoot a gun

My dad has been talking about going to the shooting range and somehow it just never worked out until Saturday! To be honest, I was a little nervous walking into the shooting range. Dad gave me a run down before we left and how to shoot the gun and the safety precautions, but still a gun is a powerful machine. The first round was well.. not so great, I may have actually hit the target 4 out of 12 rounds.. WHOOPS! The second was a lot better, I actually shot pretty well (I took a picture to document!)… but then nerves got the best of me. I’m excited to go back and try it again though, practice makes perfect.. right? :) Disregard the quality of the following pictures, they were taken with my cell phone. I didn’t think bringing my camera to the shooting range would be a safe idea, but I had to have proof that I accomplished this!
