Hauer Family – Minneapolis Family Photography

When I started my photography business over 3 years ago, I had no idea the impact these families I was photographing would have on me. To be able to watch these families love and grow over the years has been one of the greatest honors! This family, the beautiful Sarah and her 3 men/boys, have been there from the get go, Will was around 6 months when I met him and now he’s 3 years old. He’s no longer an only child though, since I’ve last seen them he’s become a BIG brother and a GREAT big brother at that. Will has this ability to make Ben laugh uncontrollably, as you’ll see in one of the photos below! Thanks H family for having me over, it’s always great to see you! Good luck with the rest of the remodeling:)

Guess who is going to be a BIG SISTER….. AMELIA!!!!:)I’m so happy Courtney and Ryan got to share the news yesterday that they are having baby #2, because I’ll be honest the secret was eating me alive! I just wanted to shout it from the rooftops! They are incredible parents, and Amelia is going to be a GREAT big sister!!!!

On top of that AWESOME news, I’m thinking of offering two mini sessions dates for those who are interested… I know everyone gets super busy when it comes to the fall, so if you are up for a short… 25-30 minute session, 10-12 images on a disc… let me know and we’ll figure out a date.

Possible dates: September 25, October 23 if there’s a lot of interest, I will open up a 3rd date! Please e-mail me ASAP if you would like to do one of these days!

Reuter Family – Family Photography

When I heard about the horrible experience Bre and her family had last fall with their family photos, it took all my will power not to jump in my car and drive 3 hours to Ames just to do a session with them right then! I told her next time I made my way to Ames we would have to do a photo session just to make up for her experience and what do you know, we made it work!!!:)This weekend I was in Ames for the wedding of two of the most amazing people and remembered about my conversation with Bre, so on Friday evening we squeezed in a quick mini session before dinner/bedtime and it turned out GREAT! Thank you guys for coming out and sharing a bit of your night with me, it was so much fun and always great to see your beautiful family!

Say hello to Cade, he just turned 5 and is full of smiles and silly faces:)

Miss Brynlee just turned 1 and is absolutely precious, those blue eyes and blonde curls.. SO cute!

Every girl should have a picture this like with their dad… priceless.

Bre had a great idea of ending the session at a local cupcake shop and do a mini birthday cake smash to celebrate Brynlee turning 1, it was the PERFECT way to end our session, frosting and all!

My heart is just exploding after editing through this family, I know it sounds cheesy but it’s so true. Their baby boy Xavier decided he was done cooking about 2 months early, and had to spend 6 weeks in the NICU before coming home to be with his incredibly strong parents, Kellee and Jason. Being able to spend time with them on Sunday was a pleasure for me, witnessing their love for each other and Xav brings a smile to my face. I’ve been sitting here trying to narrow down the images for this blog post and well I’m sorry, I just couldn’t… so there are a few more.. but I think they deserve it:)THANK YOU TEAM JAGLO! You are the BEST and I truly appreciate you letting me capture your family!
