I can’t believe how fast 2012 went by , it truly FLEW by but not without some incredible sessions with families, engagements, 2 fabulous weddings, and lots of little ones! Thank you everyone who trusted me to photograph them this last year, some days I have to pinch myself to remind me how lucky I am to do what I love every day! I had so much fun getting a personal tour of the University of Minnesota campus, yes I graduated from there but that was 5 years ago. Oh my word, the whole campus has changed and that doesn’t include the ginormous amount of construction running through the middle of campus!  We lucked out with the most beautiful weather and it seems to be, the last of it! Thank you Geida and Bill for spending your afternoon with me and showing me all these undiscovered places! I can’t wait to photograph your wedding in August – we can only hope the weather will be just as perfect!

We became friends instantly and thankfully through these many, many years have been able to keep in touch. It was such a crazy small world when she started dating Phil in college, because low and behold he’s the son of our family friend! Can you believe it? I can’t imagine two people more perfect for each other than Phil and Molly, they adore each other so much and constantly make each other as well as everyone around them, laugh. I’m looking forward to September and capturing them on their perfect wedding day. Love you both so much! Thanks for spending your early morning with me!

We started off our session at the Minneapolis Farmer’s Market, it was my first time there but I will be returning to do some shopping of my own!

When the trailer was released for the movie, I watched it repeatedly because I was THAT excited for it to be released. Last weekend went by and I didn’t get a chance to get to the movies to see it, but Monday I met my lovely friend and bride-to-be Tina for an afternoon movie… Water for Elephants. As I watched the movie I had that feeling of complete love and admiration for the it, more than I thought I could. I honestly felt like I did when I saw Titanic 8 times (yes, 8 times in the theater) when I was 13… I could go see this movie over and over without getting sick of it. The other day Green Wedding Shoes posted an session that was inspired by the movie, oh how I swoon over this. The fashion, the style… ahh I love it. I thought it would be the perfect thing to share on this finally sunny Friday afternoon.
