Today would be Tyler’s 23rd birthday, which just seems unreal to me. I always ask myself, what would he be doing on his birthday… for my 23rd birthday, I went out downtown with tons of my friends and had a very memorable night! Would he be doing that? Would he still be off in college or traveling the world? We will never know, but today we will spend the day remembering the happy times and laughing about all the funny times. We will take the time to sit through a horribly awesome kid movie, because that’s the Tyler we remember, the lovable 8 year old who rejoiced about movies and the little things in life. I will smile even though it hurts because I know that everything happens for a reason. I miss him every day but today is a happy day to really appreciate those 8 years I had being his big sister. Happy Birthday Ty, we love you.
