How crazy?! My Godson, Jackson, is now a big brother – his little sister Kenzie joined the family in February and is PRECIOUS! I just want to squeeze her, too bad they are still living in Virginia. They were up here for a brief trip over Memorial Day weekend and we managed to get a session in between rain showers! Check out the cuteness!

This adorable little buddy turned ONE yesterday – can’t believe how fast this year flew by. Feels like it was just yesterday I was going to the hospital to meet him. HAPPPPPPPY BIRTHDAY MAXWELL!

The life of a child is truly amazing. The changes they go through especially in the first year absolutely blow my mind. I met Oliver and his parents last summer, those blue eyes had me from the first moment. Luckily, 6 short months later, he is still the same blue eyed little man but a whole lot taller and MOBILE! This last weekend I took a little venture to Saint Paul to photograph him for his 1 year session and my oh my is he CUTER than ever. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves, but I can’t wait to see what he looks like the next time I see him – Zoe, I hope you’re ready for the girls to be all over him in a few short years
It’s one of my favorite times of year – the time to share favorites from the last season. I can’t believe how fast 2012 went by , it truly FLEW by but not without some incredible sessions with families, engagements, 2 fabulous weddings, and lots of little ones! Thank you everyone who trusted me to photograph them this last year, some days I have to pinch myself to remind me how lucky I am to do what I love every day! Bundle up with your jackets, hats and mittens – it’s that time of year to go Christmas Tree shopping! This was all Sarah’s idea and I was SO excited when she e-mailed me about it, like giddy excited! Not only do I ADORE this family but I’ve been dying to do a session like this. I’ve been photographing Will for almost 4 years now and just like his cousin Finn, he finally likes me – so much so, he was all about the camera this time! I guess it just takes time… Ben is now 1 1/2 and cute as ever, I have a feeling as he gets older these two are going to be blast together!
We met up in Linden Hills area across from Turtle Bread to check out the trees and then warmed up with a cookie and coffee. It was a great end to a holiday weekend – thanks Sarah for asking me to capture this for you guys!

The men at this tree lot were awesome with Will and Ben – they played this donut game. Will had to reach in and try and grab a donut before the lid closed! Nothing but laughter from this little boy.
