If you aren’t an award show junkie like myself, you may have missed last night’s SAG Awards… but to be honest, you didn’t miss much. It is a great award show because it’s actors voting for actors unfortunately there isn’t a host, the intros were lacking humor and creativity but the acceptance speeches were entertaining and heartfelt.
One of my favorite aspects of the SAG Awards is the fashion, people tend to dress down from the Oscars but with a little bit more risk. Surprisingly I really enjoyed more of the women’s outfits last night compared to the Globes the other weekend. Mila Kunis may have been my favorite of the night, loved the punch of color and the flowing strapless gown and her hair was beautiful.

My least favorites for the night… Christina Hendricks’ from Mad Men, in what looked like a jacket/robe, not really sure what she was thinking when her stylist gave her this and said “You’ll look fabulous.” Sorry honey, not so much! Nicole Kidman, she’s never been a favorite of mine, but usually she knows how to dress somewhat… not last night. I keep thinking something attacked her and ripped out the front part of her dress, or they forgot to finish it. For someone as classy as Nicole, I would expect her outfit choices to be a little bit better. Hopefully she can step it up for the Oscars next month or when she accompanies her husband Keith Urban to the Grammy’s.
February is a month filled with Sunday night TV at it’s best… The Superbowl is next weekend, the Grammy’s, Academy Awards and I think I’m forgetting something else but it’s fabulous!!
