WOULD YOU RATHER:
1. eat chocolate covered grasshoppers or this freaky squid thing? If you could have heard my reaction while watching that video it would go like this… “ewww eeee eee ewwwww”, so I’ll go chocolate covered grasshoppers…shiver.
2. never see another movie or never watch TV again? That’s a tough call, I love my TV and my movies… but I’d probably go with never watch TV again.
3. be a superhero with a lame power or a supervillain with an awesome power? Superhero with a lame power, at least I’d still be a hero
4. eat only salty snacks for the rest of you life, or only sweet snacks? Are these questions written specifically to me? I love salty and sweet, how is one suppose to choose? Oh godness, if I really really had to choose I would say sweet snacks.
5. never read another book or never hear another song? This is ridiculously unfair… I can’t imagine life without either of these, so on this question I can’t choose.. nope, no way! I love music and books WAY too much. I choose OR
6. be a whale carcass remover or a sewer inspector? I may have gagged a little at the thought of either job, I’d go sewer inspector and then I would shower for DAYS straight.
7. have no electricity or no running water? I think I’d be able to manage without electricity, but not being able to shower or brush my teeth.. eww.
8. be a dog or a cat? A dog for sure!
9. always be hot or always be cold? I am always cold… my hands are like ice cubes and my toes too! I’d rather be that than always, at least I can bundle up!
10. be forced to watch all 3 High School Musicals on an endless loop, or the Twilight movies? I really hate to admit this, but I have seen all 3 HSM movies and they aren’t bad.. but Kristen Stewart’s acting in Twilight is horrendous. My unfortunate choice would be the High School Musical movies.. oh the shame.

1. Do you listen to the radio in your car?  If so, what type of station do you like? Absolutely, I listen to a little bit of everything from country to talk radio!
2. What is the best concert you have ever attended? I have to admit, Britney Spears’ concert last month was incredible even if she can’t sing or dance but the BEST concert was probably O.A.R. on my 21st birthday.
3. What is the most embarrassing concert you have ever attended? When I was a teenager I went to Backstreet Boys, N’Sync and Spice Girls… I don’t know which of those would be the more embarrassing one. In retrospect, they were all phenomenal at the time!
4. If you could have the singing voice of anyone in the world, who would it be? Adele or Christina Aguilera, those two ladies can freaking SING!
5. You’re auditioning for American Idol.  What song do you sing? Considering I can’t sing, AT ALL… I would save those lovely judges that 30 seconds of their life and not sing!
6. If your previous weekend had its own soundtrack, what would be a few of the songs? Recover by Natasha Bedingfield, Cheers by Rhianna and Taking on the World Today by O.A.R.
7. Most annoying television show theme song ever: Shows that don’t have an intro or a theme song 
8. Are you and your significant other music-compatible? You’d have to ask Ryan Reynolds, since we’re in lurve but hopefully we are!
9. A song that brings me back to middle school: No Doubt – Don’t Speak, brings be back to 6th grade my best friend Pam and I would play it for each other when we were mad at the other, yes we were THAT cool
10. A song that brings me back to high school: Nelly – Country Grammar, driving around with the windows down blasting this song with my friends, makes me happy just thinking about it
11. A guilty pleasure song (or three): Single ladies by Beyonce, Party in the USA by Miley – really hate admitting that one, You Make My Dreams by Hall and Oates

Haven’t done one of these in awhile so I figured, why the heck not!

1. What color are your toenails painted? Right now they are painted dark red
2. What color are your fingernails painted? Nothing, just the regular nail color
3. What is your favorite brand of nail polish? OPI – I’m really not a waitress
4. As the norm, do you DIY your nails or get mani/pedis? DIY, I am EXTREMELY ticklish on my feet so getting a pedicure is close to torture!
5. Have you ever had a gel mani? Do you recommend it? Yes I have, I use to get those and fake nails in high school and college. They look great but destroyed my nails!
6. What is the last movie you watched on television? (TV, Netflix, Redbox, etc.) I believe it was Take Me Home Tonight, the movie set in the 80s, kind of a throwback to John Hughes! Made me want to have an 80s party just to dress up and listen to the music all over again!
7. What is the last movie you watched in the cinema? Harry Potter 7 part 2, SOOOOOOO good!!!
8. Is there a movie that everyone talks about as if it is a classic but you haven’t seen? There are quite a few… almost every classic movie I bet I have NOT seen, like The Way We Were, Bridges of Madison County, Ghost, Varsity Blues (Guess that’s a classic from my age).
9. What is your favorite movie soundtrack? That’s a tough one, I don’t think I have a favorite movie soundtrack per say… 10 things I hate about you soundtrack brings back great memories!
10. Have you ever seen a movie and thought it was better than the book it was based on? Not even a little bit, it’s usually the opposite, the books are FAR better than the movies. Curious to see how One Day will compare to the book when the movie is realized in a little while.

Another installment of Ten on Tuesday from Roots and Rings…

1. What type of phone do you have? Do you like it? I have a Samsung Fascinate and we have a love/hate relationship, it likes to decide when to send/receive text messages, phones calls and just work properly. I would LOVE the iPhone5 to come out soon… please?
2. How old were you when you got your first cell phone? I was actually 12 when I got my first cell phone, but it was only because my brother/parents were spending so much time at the hospital they needed it to get a hold of me/emergencies.
3. How many cell phones have you owned since your first? This is funny, let me see if I can count… including ones I’ve broken etc… maybe 10/11? That’s ridiculous.
4. How much is your average monthly phone bill? About $100
5. When you were a kid/teenager, were you allowed to have a phone in your room? I remember finally getting a phone in my room and I got my own number, I was SO excited… I’d say I was like 13 or 14… Right Mom? It was red and cordless, I might actually still have it somewhere!
6. Do you like talking on the phone or do you despise it? Or somewhere in-between? I really enjoy talking on the phone, most of my good friends don’t live in Minnesota so it’s the best way to communicate with them!
7. Do you text a lot? Is texting/talking while driving illegal where you live? Are you guilty of it anyway? I text a lot, sometimes it is just easier! Yes, it is illegal here and I am pretty good about not doing it. I’ve heard too many horror stories and it really isn’t worth it to me. I do check it occasionally at a red light… which I need to stop!
8. What sort of texting keyboard does your phone have? Touch screen, slide out, or something different? Do you care? It’s a touch screen, it’s alright… sometimes I miss my flip phone with the keyboard.
9. Look at the last call in your call log – who is it? What were they calling about? Who calls you the most? Last call I received, my dad talking about house stuff, last call I made to Kim to chat about her coming home this weekend! Hmmm.. calls the most… my mom?
10. What is the longest phone call you can recall having? In high school I could talk on the phone for HOURS, like 4 hours at a time… don’t know if I could do that anymore, but I was definitely a phone chatter back then! Who knows what we talked about for that long!?

A little Ten on Tuesday from Roots and Rings…

1. Have you ever used Craigslist? Absolutely, I use it all the time. I actually just bought a chair valued at $300 for $50 off there, what a steal!
2. Can you sew? I wish I could say yes, because I knew back in 7th grade but honestly if you put me in front of a sewing machine I wouldn’t be able to successfully sew anything. Sorry Mom.
3. Do you pour syrup on your pancakes or dip your pancakes in the syrup? Pour my syrup on my pancakes. Yum.
4. Rain storms: Love them or hate them? Love rain storms, HATE thunderstorms… they scare the beegeezus out of me.
5. Do you like swimming? I do indeed, for exercise and fun.
6. What kind of drink do you order at Sonic? I have never been to a Sonic before, they just recently put them up in Minnesota. Are they really good?
7. Are you funny? Oh that depends on who you ask, I have my “funny” moments, but I am by no means a comedian. Usually me being funny, is more me having a “blonde’ moment or saying inappropriate things or words/phrases incorrectly.
8. At what age will your kids get cell phones? Not until they can drive, or are doing enough extracurricular activities to need one.
9. What’s your favorite vegetable? Broccoli… so good! I could eat it every day, which is a little weird.
10. Were you a Girl Scout? I’d have to double check with my mom but I think I was for like 1 year, I don’t remember it lasting very long at all. Whoops!
