A little something different on this rainy Tuesday afternoon… I’ve read the lovely Gail’s Ten on Tuesday, as well as some other blogs so I figured for this rainy day I’d try it out!

Ten on Tuesday - from Roots and Rings

1. How many blogs do you read every day and what are they? (I’m talking the ones you NEVER miss) I’d have to say I read at least 3 a day, but I’ve been trying REALLY hard not to read blogs as much. I NEVER miss bobbi+mike‘s blog posts when she updates it, Gail Werner because she’s such a GREAT writer… I love reading what she has to say, and if someone shares a new post on FB or Twitter I’ll usually take a minute to check out what it has to say. My google reader is filled with blog posts that I haven’t read lately, but I try to catch up when I have the time.

2. How many “best friends” do you have? Do you have different “besties” for different areas of your life? I’d say I have a few BEST friends and lots of close friends… there are those friends you know you can call on for absolutely ANYTHING in life. I feel extremely lucky to have them in my life, even if they don’t live particularly close! You know who you are

3. What’s your daily make up routine? I keep it pretty simple… lotion, foundation, bronzer and some mascara.. I’m not big on the full face of make up… no thank you. Takes FAR too much time, I’d rather use that time for sleeping or just laying in bed in the morning.

4. What is your ideal girl’s night? Ladies night is usually every Thursday, a bunch of us girls get together to catch up and enjoy a glass of wine. It’s a great way to end the week and vent about everything before the weekend starts. I think girl’s nights are extremely important in life, because I wouldn’t be where I am in life without my friends.

5. Do you keep up with your nails/toenails or are they au natural? My toes are usually painted red and after having fake nails throughout high school and college, ugh how they DESTROYED my nails.. I have not put them through that for a very long time. They are au natural… simple simple

6. What’s your best roommate story (assuming you had a roommate at some point in your life)? Oh Lauren, what stories can we share from our 3 years living together? I’ve told her this on numerous occasions but she was/is the BEST roommate, we just got along so well and had a blast living together. There are FAR too many stories and not enough space on the page to tell them all, and some that will remain under roommate code lock and key

7. What’s your “go to” outfit that you wear more than anything else? If I had a choice, I’d throw on my ripped jeans, a sweatshirt, flips flops or my UGGs every single day. I am all for comfort! Since I’m lucky enough to work from home most days I’m usually in my PJs until I head to the gym, and then it’s jean and sweatshirt time! What can I say, it works for me!

8. Do you have a beauty secret? I don’t think so… my “beauty” regime is pretty simple. I wish I had some good secret to share.

9. Did you read Seventeen magazine growing up? Absolutely! What teenage girl didn’t?! This may have started my obsession with magazines, in college I used to get InStyle, Glamour, People, and US Weekly EVERY week and read them cover to cover.

10. How did you learn to put on makeup? From watching my mom and stealing her makeup, she can tell you numerous times where she’d have to come down to my room with the question of “Ashley do you have my [insert any makeup item I could have taken]..?” The answer was almost always “Yes”.Thanks Mom!
